It was rumored that Tina was engaged to Balaji Telefilms' production head, Mahesh Kumar Jaiswal whom she met during Koi Aane Ko Hai production. However Tina denied the rumors. Tina was also rumored to be dating her co-stars of Uttaran, Nandish Sandhu and Rohit Khurana.
She is well known Bengali actress and has acted in many Bengali Movies as well as Tele Shows. Tina Dutta started her career at mere age of 5. Tina was starred in Bengali Film Choker Bali with Aishwarya Rai at age of 12. Tina played Teenage Lolita in the Bollywood Movie, Parineeta in 2005 which went to Berlin Film Festival, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, 24th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles, Helsinki Film Festival and the International Film Festival of Marrakech. The Movie was Critically Praised and was a blockbuster at Box Office.
